CSCAP 13th biennial General Conference
CSCAP held its 13th biennial General Conference in Jakarta on 8-9 December 2022. The conference was organised by CSIS Jakarta and held at the ASEAN Secretariat. The conference opened with an address by the Secretary General of ASEAN, H.E. Dato Lim Jock Hoi. A copy of his remarks can be found here.
Topics covered at the General Conference included the implications of the war in Ukraine for the Indo-Pacific region, the consequences of sharper great power competition, the blurring of the economic and security agenda in the region, cooperation on global health, and the development of ASEAN's Outlook on the Indo-Pacific.
